Brenda Gomes was an undergraduate student from Manchester, Connecticut majoring in Material Science & Engineering. She was researching thermal analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) techniques, bio-mimicking of materials and materials processing and characterization under Dr. Jankovic and graduate research assistant Sara Pedram.
