MARIAH BATOOL
Ph.D. Student
Department of Materials Science and Engineering
Mariah is currently a Ph.D. student in Materials Science at the University of Connecticut under the Foreign Fulbright Scholarship Program. She did her B.E. in Materials Engineering and M.S. in Energy Systems Engineering from NUST, Pakistan where she worked on the fabrication of protonic ceramic (PCFCs) and solid oxide (SOFCs) fuel cells. She also studied the designing of phase change materials for thermal energy storage as part of a research exchange program at Arizona State University. Her current research involves the investigation of state-of-the-art image processing methods for materials characterization for use in PEM fuel cells.
