Matthew Maramo is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Connecticut majoring in Materials Science and Engineering and is very excited to be working in Dr. Jankovic’s lab for his Honors thesis project. He is working on formulating catalyst inks for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) that are suitable for corrosion-resistant atomic layer deposition (ALD) coatings. His interest in the subject started while participating in the Summer 2022 Research Experience for Undergraduates program in hydrogen technologies with the Center for Clean Energy Engineering.
